World Airline Awards™ draws on the aviation industry's highly respected Skytrax World Airline Survey research and is also known as the Passengers Choice Awards. This survey is recognized around the world as the only global and independent airline operations measure of customer satisfaction research. Finnair scored its success in the Best Airline, Northern Europe my photo and wallpaper category.

A total of 18.8 million air travelers from over 100 countries took part in the survey, assessing over 200 airlines according to 38 different criteria, including check-in, seat comfort, passenger cabin cleanliness and service. Now in its 12th year, the survey is recognized as a benchmark for quality in the world of aviation.
